Description

 WiLine Networks and its services company Teladapters have a position where internet searching and shopping make up 50% of the role. We are an internet provider and purchase a wide variety of items to support the operations team.

When joining the Teladapter Services group as a Purchasing Agent you become part of a dedicated team committed to bringing High-Speed Internet and other services to our customers. You will work with operations management to provide equipment for all levels of service and support. If you like multitasking, enjoy coordinating various entities for a common goal, and are willing to handle procurement and inventory-related activity this is the role for you!

  • Create purchase order requisitions for management review and approval to meet critical operational demands.
  • Monitor and expedite approvals as needed so that purchase orders can be placed with vendors in order to meet operational schedules or to refill MIN/MAX levels established to allow timely installation and troubleshoot activity.
  • Manage vendor activity, information availability, and documentation to communicate the status of all procurement activities.
  • Receive and update purchase orders and develop a multiple vendor base to ensure we have the best pricing, timely availability, and the quality required as specified by operations and engineering.
  • Update inventory details based on operational equipment information provided to ensure reports are concise, maximum notification of shortages are flagged and details are available for all operational personnel.
  • Monitor shipping/freight activities to ensure the best pricing and that transit times are clearly communicated to project managers.
  • Expedite critical demand requirements where needed.
  • Work in the office 3 days per week in order to provide support, gather information, and understand what the process requires. 2 days per week will be remote. 
  • Update database and job tickets as new information becomes available and when tasks are completed.
  • Assist in backfilling critical information details to ensure database information is maximized.
  • Coordinate 3rd party work with internal and external management and engineers as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • We are passionate about customer service; yours are mostly internal to the organization.
  • Ability to stay on task when working remotely.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license. 
  • Strong written skills to effectively interact with Teladapter’s operations workforce and vendors.

Things we can teach but great for us if you already know:

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience and/or degree
  • A basic understanding of wireless technology-this can be learned through our skilled operations management personnel.
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ownership of each and every piece of the role.
